I have a standard response should the question of why I don’t read more nonfiction be asked, “life’s enough nonfiction for me.” Not my best word smithing by any stretch, but true nonetheless. I was intrigued by the promise of this title and stayed with it because it’s clever and authentic with a contemporary voice. The antithesis of a self-help book, it breezes through many of life’s bigger issues with a spectacular lack of depth. The author is just a guy who is making no claims to cure anyone of anything but offers up small bites of cool wisdom for you to do you.
