Think Michael Crichton but way more fun!  

A potentially world-ending fungus is finding its way out of its controlled environment prison to wreck a bit of havoc on creatures both human and otherwise.  

Tightly plotted with a propulsive pace and good characters, this book is a great way to entertain yourself for a few hours. While not for everyone, it’s no cookie cutter thriller.

Also works as an appetite suppressant. It’s been awhile since I have seen this much gore on the page!

P.S. – Loved that one of the heroes was in his sixties!  Apparently, you are never too old to take out a malignant fungus with a flamethrower. .

Footnote: The fungus narrates some of the story…and it isn’t as ridiculous as it sounds!
