This first in an epic new fantasy trilogy follows two exceptional young women with the power to either salvage or annihilate their kingdom. A literary mashup of Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Red Rising, the author creates two badass leads (no damsels in distress here!) that ensure the reader is thoroughly captivated by the story.

Told with a flare for action that never sacrifices the emotion, this novel creates a world you can lose yourself in. As with most trilogies, not everything is going to be explained or revealed in this first installment, but with a mythology that builds off seven distinct elements of magic and power and spans centuries of history there is lots to sink your teeth into.
