Ginny Moon - Benjamin Ludwig
/Drama
Rating: 8/10
Our main character, Ginny Moon, is an autistic teenager which makes for a unique and refreshing narration. She and her story are both utterly captivating and heart wrenching. Ginny has been bounced around the foster care system after her removal from the care of a drug addicted mother and has landed in her “forever home.” However, Ginny has some other plans in mind!
This sweet, lovely novel is not always easy to read as Ginny’s distress at an often-confounding world for her, with adults that she can’t make sense of, is palpable.
Footnote: While this is not going to be shelved in the young adult section of your local bookstore, I would recommend as a read that can provide an understanding into those who might be different from us.
