/As children we all likely had our parents say "goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite". What a lovely thought to put in a childs head before turning out the lights and closing them in a room with only their own imaginations for company. Is it any wonder many grew up afraid to read horror novels? Despite some youthful hesitation, many, such as myself grew to be more than willing to put much more terrifying images in their heads before drifting off to sleep.
