A vampire story set in the Disco era? I am so here for it. Even though I can’t get this song out of my head now, I remember every single word, judge me all you want, I loved Disco. Joyful and effervescent songs…what’s not to love!
Imagine if Louis and Lestat from Interview With A Vampire were gorgeous and glamorous young female vampires who love to party all night, that will set the stage for you if you pick up this book.
Amber spends her evenings on the dance floor, full of uninhibited joy and life, something missing in the daily drudgery of her married life. When vampire Nicola spots her, she can’t look away. Soon she finds herself imagining a life together. So to speak.
Amber should have known the party wouldn’t last when Nicola casually suggested killing her husband. She shut her down immediately and elicited a promise to do him no harm. Spoiler alert, vampires lie.
Fifty years later, Amber is bored with this immortal lifestyle and as Nicola’s toxic secrets and lies are revealed, she hatches a bold plan for escape. But can she liberate herself from a vindictive and bloodthirsty maker? Reader, you have no idea…
