You'd Look Better As A Ghost - Joanna Wallace

Thriller

Rating: 7/10

If you can’t stomach a thoroughly unlikable narrator with a dark psyche, move along fair reader.

Another release in the trending sub-genre of “female killers”, this one follows the trials and tribulations of Claire. A part time serial killer intent on keeping her “hobby” secret, despite the efforts of a blackmailer with hideous taste in fashion who is smarter than she looks.

But here’s the thing, is it wise to tangle with a serial killer? Despite them seemingly not fully committed to full time devotion to their craft. Probably not.

Claire goes to great lengths to find whatever evidence exists of her misdeeds, hilariously finding herself in more trouble with even more people.

Claire would defend her choices vehemently. She only offs people who have wronged her in some way. Those who would not apologize for their crime against. Bet they're sorry now

Wallace’s writing is often funny, especially when it comes to her wry and biting observations about all the people that Claire crosses paths with. Claires inner dialogue will both disturb and entertain.
