How To Kill Men & Get Away With It - Katy Brent

Thriller

Rating: 9/10

Not sure what is says about me that I love an edgy and snarky serial killer, but when this one describes death as “a rather pretty palette”, I was a goner!

Kitty is a strong and highly intelligent woman desperately seeking respite from tedious conversations with vapid people.  How she concludes that taking on the mantel of murderess is the way to cope is for me to know and you to find out!

Kitty stumbles into her first murder, quite literally in fact.  With the first done and dusted, so to speak, her life’s purpose arrives in a aha moment. Someone needs to eliminate these men who think they can continue to misbehave with no consequences.  Why not her?  A socialite influencer and part time vegan with time to spare.

Juggling the demands of a newly minted serial killer amid the required thought one must give to the flourishes at her crime scenes, Kitty still finds time to date.  To those men I say this, tread lightly.  And be afraid, be very afraid.

P.S.  A couple of Kitty’s rules to live by, or is it kill by…

Don’t confess to your date that he’s the first guy in a long time you haven’t imagined dicing up and feeding into a meat grinder.

Don’t assume your upset tummy is some kind of deep-seated remorse.  It’s probably the flu.
