Set in the world of Wall Street high finance, which is a wealth of salacious material, this story follows four rather unsavory types who find themselves trapped in an elevator.  As they are led to believe that they are paying the price for their ruthless ambitions by solving clues in order to “escape”, they inevitably turn on each other. Also starring in this completely implausible story is Sara, who is she? How does she fit in?  

I have no problem with having my credulity remorselessly toyed with, it’s the very foundation of much of the wonderful fiction I have enjoyed in my lifetime, I do have a problem with the trick of the escape room back drop.  There are no intricate puzzles here to be solved and early on you realize getting out is unlikely.  I know that there is a proper escape room literary spin out there somewhere…I will be waiting!
