Thriller

Rating: 7/10

Hallelujah! Finally, a thriller that’s not about murderous spouses. I was beginning to worry about all my married friends. Law of averages and all that!

A woman who had a cult leader turned mass murderer for a father and a glass eyed sycophant for a mother finds herself pulled back into a past she wants nothing to do with.

The authors deliberate peeling back of the layers of obfuscation is enthralling, the characters are well drawn and deeply flawed and the framework unique.

Footnote: All the good stuff aside, it could have been better.  Gone deeper. A teensy bit pointless in the end, but still entertaining.
